Method and assumptions
yards = length × width × (depth ÷ 12) ÷ 27. Estimated tons are cubic yards multiplied by the editable density. Order tons add the adjustment percentage; the displayed range is ±5% around that planning quantity. Truckloads round up by your entered truck capacity. No single density is universal.
Example and limitations
Use measured dimensions and replace defaults with supplier or local information. Density, material names, truck payloads, prices and requirements vary. Round ordering quantities only after confirming how the supplier sells and delivers material.
